Pamela Lupton Bowers - President

Pamela Lupton-Bowers is the founding and current president of the IAF Chapter and she also served as IAF Director of Europe 2009-2012. She has been an IAF CPF (certified professional facilitator) since October 2005 and renewed her certification in 2009.

As director of PLB Consulting Ltd she provides expert consulting services in facilitation and learning with a particular emphasis on international organizations. She has a broad professional background that includes sports educator, university lecturer, team leader of corporate trainers for Electronic Data Systems, Detroit, USA, and head of staff training and development at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Geneva where she worked for 10 years.

Pamela has worked in more than 60 countries and has facilitated a wide range of events from executive strategic retreats to multi-stakeholder meetings. She is passionate about developing facilitation skills in learning and in leadership, and has worked with all levels of teams across all sectors. Pamela also teaches on the International Diploma of Humanitarian Assistance from whom she received a diploma ‘Honoris Causa’ in 2002.

Christiane Amici Raboud - Treasurer

Christiane Amici Raboud joined the IAF Geneva Chapter in 2009. She certified as Professional Facilitator (IAF CPF) in 2010 and recertified in 2014. She also graduated as an Adult Trainer from Geneva University.

Christiane has been working for about 36 years with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) serving in the field of operations and at Headquarters mainly as Trainer, Training Project Manager, Training Center Manager and Institutional Facilitator.

She co-founded CYC Partenaires in 2013 and now works as an independant facilitator for International Humanitarian Organisations, Social and Professional Associations, NGOs, and Public Services in Geneva and abroad. She teaches "Team Capacity Building Module" at the CERAH (Center for Education in Humanitarian Action) at Geneva University.

She works in French and English.

She is enthusiastic about working with groups and shows tireless involvement in supporting them to successfully meet their goals and objectives.

Rodolfo Gil - Events Co-ordinator

Rodolfo joined the IAF Chapter in 2017.  Founder of "To Be Consultants" and Senior facilitator of The Oxford Group, for the past 20 years he has been a facilitator, consultant, coach and entrepreneur who has worked with public and private organizations in Latin America, United States and Europe.

His relational skills and ability to recognize and modify dynamics allows him to create trust learning environments and transformation processes. He has applied this to multinationals, small companies, educational institutions, public sector, and as an entrepreneur, in the three consultancy companies that he has successfully founded.

Rodolfo´s vast experience with a wide range of groups and companies has allowed him to understand the challenges that people and organizations have in today´s world and develop strategies to help his clients manage transformations, adapt to changes and achieve results, highlighting the importance of effective human interactions.

Malika Aït-Mohamed Parent - Board Advisor

Malika joined the IAF Geneva chapter from its creation.

From anti-corruption preaching to corruption fighting, she is committed to developing institutional accountability frameworks embracing soft and hard components of Fraud and Corruption prevention and control. 

With 30 years of experience in the Humanitarian sector, she has actively contributed, as a senior leader, to strategic development, policy creation & implementation, network empowerment, accountability framework creation and compliance enforcement, undertaking travel to 93 countries on all continents.
 
For Under Secretary General at the IFRC, she is currently a Visiting Lecturer at the International Anti-Corruption Academy. As well as an international speaker and investigator; she is also member of the Humanitarian Affairs Think Tank IRIS and the International Scientific Committee, French Red Cross Funds.


Ian Ellery - Webmaster

Ian is an IT Consultant, freelance journalist and radio presenter. After 10 years presenting "The Gadget Guru" on World Radio Switzerland, he works with video companies teaching executives radio and video presentation techniques.
